About Us
Sonya Heckler, a native West Texan and Andrewsian, has been an experienced counselor for over ten years. In 2001, Sonya opened her private practice and in 2005 she founded Solution Concepts, Inc. Services provided to community individuals and families in Andrews and surrounding counties include counseling, neurofeedback, biofeedback, and brain entrainment. In 2006, Sonya and three business partners founded Mind Games Learning Strategies, LLC, a business focused on the treatment of performance deficits characteristic of ADHD and other attention dysfunction. They pose no significant side effects and problems are resolved rather than temporarily suppressed. Clients become able to perform well independently, without a need to depend on drugs. Sonya is a graduate of Texas Tech University, Hardin-Simmons University, and will complete her doctorate from Regent University in Spring 2010. She holds licensure as a professional counselor in the state of Texas as well as nationally as a National Board Certified Counselor. She is a Texas Board Approved Supervisor for LPC Interns. Additionally, Sonya holds certifications as a Certified Parent Trainer, Certified Anger Management Therapist, and Certified Animal Assisted Therapist. | |
